Teen Pop
Teen pop is a subgenre of pop music that is created, marketed and oriented towards teenagers (ages 7 to 15). Teen pop artists make a big emphasis on visual appeal, when music resembles simplified forms of traditional cheerful pop.

Teen pop music is strictly censured. All teen pop lyrics mustn`t be focused on adults themes forbidden for children like sex, drugs, alcohol, violence. As a rule, lyrics are focused on romantic relationships and friendship.
In America teen pop is related to cinema and TV. Most of teen pop artists came from youth TV shows or movies. For example, the star of the «Hannah Montana» TV show - Miley Cyrus.
Teen pop is considered as profitable business, «artists for children» are always leading in charts and sales. Lindsay Lohan, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, far back in the past Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears (came from «The Mickey Mouse Club»), all these young stars made more money than adult global pop stars.
Every country has its own national teen pop heroes. In Russia the TV show «Утренняя звезда» («Utrennjaja zvezda») was the basement for the development of teen pop in the early 90s, but in the 00s Russian producers began to copy the west model of teen pop with TV projects like Ранетки (Ranetki).
